Support unit supply

Ball Screw Support Units BK/BF, FK/FF, EK/EF

Support units are usually ordered together with ball screws, end machining, and couplings. BK, FK, and EK are typically fixed-side units that take axial positioning; BF, FF, and EF are typically support-side units. Confirm the support model, screw diameter, end journal, bearing length, lock thread, coupling end, and installation space before quotation, preferably with the real support unit or a brand drawing.

Fixed-side units

BK, FK, and EK series carry axial positioning with internal bearings and locking structure. Common inputs are BK12, FK15, EK10, and similar.

Support-side units

BF, FF, and EF series support the other screw end. Common inputs are BF12, FF15, EF10, and similar.

Kits and distributor supply

Support units can ship together with screws, nuts, couplings, and end machining as a set, and distributors can batch order them with standard parts.

Inquiry details

Support unit quotation starts with the pairing, not the name alone.

BK12 or BF12 is a support model, not the screw diameter. Confirm the support model together with screw diameter, end journal, bearing seat length, lock thread, coupling end, and installation space. When dimensions differ by brand, use the real unit, brand drawing, or customer-confirmed drawing as the reference.

FAQ

Support Unit FAQ

Common questions about support unit selection, pairing, and RFQ details.

Does BK12 mean the screw diameter is 12 mm?

Not necessarily. BK12 usually relates to bearing bore and support unit mounting dimensions, not the full screw model. Confirm screw diameter, end machining, and coupling-end dimensions together.

Can support units be ordered together with ball screws?

Yes. Support units, screws, nuts, couplings, and end machining can be quoted as one set. Put the support model, screw model, lengths, and packing details in the same RFQ list.

Are dimensions the same across support brands?

Not always. Even with the same name, details can vary by brand. For end machining, use the real support unit, brand drawing, or customer-confirmed drawing as the reference.

Do distributors order support units in batches?

Yes. Distributor stock orders can include support units together with standard parts, bars, and nuts under batch quantity, labels, and neutral packing rules.
